How long does ceramic coating last? +
We offer 3 year and 5 year coatings. With proper maintenance washes and no automatic car washes, many of our clients in Florida's climate see protection well beyond the rated period.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating? +
Not always, but it's highly recommended. Ceramic locks in whatever the paint looks like. Every ceramic job includes 1-step correction prep. A 2-step upgrade (for heavier swirls or oxidation) is a $350 upcharge.
How soon can I wash my car after ceramic coating? +
Wait 7 days for your first wash. Avoid automatic car washes permanently. The brushes scratch the coating. We'll send you home with a full aftercare kit and written instructions.
Do you come to my location? +
Yes. Window tint, ceramic coating, paint correction, full details and maintenance washes all come to you, at your home or workplace, by appointment, anywhere in Pinellas County. Only PPF and vehicle wraps are installed indoors at our St. Petersburg location, and you get the address when you book.
What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 paint correction? +
Stage 1 removes light swirl marks and water spots. Stage 2 cuts deeper, eliminating heavier scratches and oxidation, and leaves a mirror finish before coating. We measure paint thickness before and after every job.
